Awsome site. I owned a female out of Lipper and a wicks stylish banjo female and hunted with a lot of lipper dogs in the ninetys. Don't see many lipper style dogs around now. Have hunted with a skuna river dog who had the mouth of the old lipper dogs. I have several nice walkers now that do a good job but don't seem to have the driving cold track and super loud bawl mouths. Think we have been breeding the nose out of them to many tree dogs not enough track. Hunted with dogs now that hunt like curs little bark on track hot nosed. My dogs are selected now for cold tracking first treeing second. Sure there is cold nosed dogs out there but they will be found in the big hills and thin coon not a bunch of pop up corn feild coon country.
