This list of dogs are from the Treeing Walker Breeders and Fanciers Association Hall Of Fame.  TWBFA is chartered with UKC and would be considered to be the main Treeing Walker Association of today.  To join the Association go to their site for information on who to send your membership to.   www.treeingwalkerbreeders.com

In 1968 the Treeing Walker Breeders and Fanciers Association began inducting hounds into their HALL OF FAME.  The first year they inducted 5 male hounds.  Then in 1970 they started inducting females in the Hall Of Fame and inducted 5 female hounds.

A dog had to be dead to be included into the Hall Of Fame.  After the initial 5 Males in 1968 and 5 Females in 1970 two dogs would be inducted each year.  1 Male and 1 Female.  The only exception was that ACHA World Champions were inducted upon their death.  At the time the ACHA World Championship was the only World Coonhound Championship and it was the one people wanted to win.

So as you go through this list you may notice some years in the early beginning where 3 or 4 dogs may have been inducted.  This is where a number of World Champions had died and been inducted.

We will work on getting all of the Hall Of Fame members up as soon as we can.  We will try to add a few each week until we are up to date on having pictures of all of the members of the Treeing Walker Hall Of Fame.
